OptiSens is part of the CIAMS research laboratory and attached to a STAPS R&&D unit on movement sciences . The work aims to develop fundamental knowledge whose implications and applications might equally well concern motor learning processes, sports training, perceptual-motor re-education or robotics and self-regulating systems (in sports performance and health).
Equestrian activities are one of our specialities.
CIAMS is a university research unit structured in 3 teams, with several cross-discipline projects plus a STAPS sports R&&D unit:
1- "Motor Control and Perception" (CMP) team
2 - "Risk, Intervention, Movement, Balance" (RIME) team
3 - "Sport, Politics and Social Transformation" (SPOTS) team.
As OptiSens forms part of the CMP team, the field of research is focused on movement and sport, tackled in the light of 3 main disciplines: - neurosciences – biomechanics - psychology -
