The 3 key strengths
1Improving productivity and communication
2Provides a competitive advantage over foreign breeders
3Combatting the Digital Divide

For the Echangeur de Basse-Normandie, the aim is to publicise trends and new developments in terms of digital technological solutions applied specifically to the equine industry. The aim of the Equi-ICT project is to speed up the removal of the psychological, technological and economic barriers holding back the development of ICT in the equine field. Generally speaking, this involves helping professionals to get the most from the potential in new Information and Communication Technologies or “I.C.T.” .

Professional breeders, trainers, stallion owners, riders, veterinary clinics, farriers, bloodstock agents, etc.

All businesses today expect to use modern management and communication tools: websites, mobile apps, customer relations management software, electronic management of documents and invoices, etc. Where does this fit in with the equine industry? What technology can breeders, stallion owners, vets, professional riders, farriers, or owners rely on to improve their competitiveness?

Echangeur Basse-Normandie (a digital training provider and facilitator) has responded to this issue by setting up the “Equi-TIC” (Equi-ICT) project.
